This correspondence set was defined by selecting the words that are found in Zeno et al. (Educator's Word Frequency Guide) with a positive frequency cited for Kindergarten/1st grade and that are also found in CMUdict (the Carnegie Mellon Pronouncing Dictionary, version 0.6d) with a monosyllabic pronunciation. The correspondence set is the minimal set of rules needed to give reasonable, complete alignments for these words.
